Do the 2022 or 2027 fieldwork rules apply to me?
It depends on when you apply. To use the 2022 rules, you must meet every requirement and apply before January 1, 2027. If you apply on or after that date, all of your fieldwork hours must meet the 2027 rules. We track your hours to the 2027 standard so you're covered either way.
Do I need a client?
Yes. Every BACB fieldwork hour must involve real clients, and your supervisor must have a formal relationship with them. No site yet? We help you set one up.
Does role-play count?
No. The BACB doesn’t count simulated or hypothetical work.
When can I start?
After you start qualifying graduate coursework and sign your supervision contract.
Is your curriculum BACB coursework?
No. It supports your fieldwork and exam readiness.
How fast can I finish?
Under the 2027 rules, at least 13 months for 2,000 hours or 10 months for 1,500 concentrated hours; most people take longer.
